When new beginnings coloured us in splendour,

When you said you’d leave I couldn’t bite my tears,

Might’ve driven off the road before we changed the gears.

In the brightest lights, you’ve always shone,

Now I run into you like I’m coming home.

Arms warmer than fire I light to these bridges,

Standing by my side even though it gives you stitches.

Timeless and old is our war to last forever,

Every touch feels new like pieces joined together.

Falling like petals like we’re at full bloom.
