CLAY CREATIONS
Nothing brings me more ease than kneading a soft ball of clay. I can form cute foods, characters, and items that fit in the palm of my hand from once shapeless mounds.
You can find more of my clay creations on Instagram and process videos on TikTok. Below are some of my personal favourites.

200 Keycaps
200 artisan keycaps made for Edmonton Expo

Gulliver Shell Compact
The first of my Animal Crossing-inspired craft series on TikTok! I repurposed a resin shell compact mold and turned it into a figurine instead.

Galactic Terrarium
This custom-made terrarium was a commission for one of my dear friends. She wanted to capture some of her boyfriend's favourite things: space aesthetic, terrariums, and miniatures.
Materials used: glass terrarium, epoxy resin, UV resin, polymer clay, pebbles, fake moss, elastic string.
Estimated time: 7-10 hours.

Animal Donuts
This set of sweets was inspired by an illustration by Jennillustrations. I wanted to recreate her donuts with as much accuracy as possible and it made for a fun challenge.
Materials used: polymer clay, liquid Sculpey, soft pastels.
Estimated time: 2-3 hours.

Moon Music
I followed a now-deleted tutorial by one of my favourite clay artists, Lemonteacharm, for this one. The moon harp idea was revolutionary to me, and I can't wait to implement similar concepts in my future work.
Materials used: polymer clay, glitter, rhinestones, mica powder, gold wire, soft pastels.

Pearlie Mermaid
This is my first and only entry for Mermay, a month-long mermaid themed art challenge. This gal taught me how time-consuming chibis are to make, and that there was no way I could make one a day for a whole month.
Materials used: polymer clay, mica powder, soft pastels, gold spoon charm.
Estimated time: 4-5 hours.

Bear Food
Cute animal foods is the ultimate pairing. A lot of the food clay charms I see online lean more towards the simple kawaii aesthetic rather than realistic, so I wanted to create something that was both cute and looked good enough to eat.

Estimated time: 2-3 hours.

Cloud Sleeper
This is an idea I'd like to revisit sometime with more expertise, finesse, and patience. Dream and galaxy aesthetics are some of my favourites, so I love this piece, but I'd like to push the idea further in the future.
Materials used: polymer clay, mica powder, soft pastels, epoxy resin, UV resin.

Pokémon S&S Starters
I was on a Sobble-making spree one summer as I prepared gifts for my then-boyfriend, who loved the Pokemon. I thought it needed some friends though, so I made the full starter set.
Materials used: polymer clay, mica powder, UV resin, epoxy resin, glitter.

Galaxy Hopper
This is one of my favourite attempts at mixed media creations. I wanted to give the bunny a ceramic-like appearance, because I had been entranced by their shininess. I thought ceramics and resin would look beautiful together, but figured they were not often used together because they would not stick well. However, using polymer clay gave me the ability to mix the medias together and create a unique piece.

BTS Candies
Though I wouldn't consider myself hardcore army, I do enjoy BTS' music. Even more so, I adore the design of their little BT21 mascots. I thought they would be perfect as candy charms!
Materials used: polymer clay, washi tape, UV resin, plastic sheets, glitter.
Estimated time: 5-6 hours.

Disgruntled Teacup Animals
I have been on the hunt for more of the miniature teacups since I bought them from eBay! They seemed to have vanished from the internet so I decided to use the last of mine on these angry little animals.
Materials used: polymer clay, ceramic teacups, epoxy resin.
Estimated time: 1-2 hours.

Animal Crossing Charms
I birthed these out of my obsession with Animal Crossing during the first months of quarantine. These combine my favourite two methods of escapism: art and farming games.
